EFFICIENCY AND RELIABILITY

TThe yamaha outboard F20 is nearly the same size as the Yamaha two-stroke model and has the same output power. Engine operation is simplified by a front shift and a larger throttle grip, while the stop switch and PT switch are located on the tiller handle on power tilt models.

With Yamaha’s Prime Start System, which delivers the exact amount of fuel required for combustion to each cylinder based on engine temperature, starting is a breeze every time. A light pull on the manual starter or turning the starter-key on electric start models will start the engine.

The yamaha outboards are easy to carry, mount, and remove thanks to a thick and easy-to-hold carrying grip at the front of the engine and plastic handy-grips at the back. When the outboard is laid down, the plastic handy–grips also serve as a roll support.

Yamaha’s High Thrust series of four stroke engines are designed to provide the grunt required to easily push large loads.

The FT50C is based on the standard F50C with one major difference: a higher gear ratio allows this motor to spin a larger propeller, minimising slippage and delivering more power to the water when it is most needed.
